  • What is included in the rental package?

    The basic package includes: tuxedo jacket, trousers, formal shirt, and a bowtie and matching cummerbund or vest. You can also rent additional items such as formal shoes, fancy vests, and cufflinks. Plus, you can purchase formal socks, button covers, and pocket squares.

  • How about sizes?

    From 34 Short to 72 Long, we have them all. Our shoes are sized in half-sizes and available in wide widths; shoes go up to size 18.

  • Do I need to make an appointment?

    Nope. We always have Professional Style Consultants on staff to help you pick out the perfect outfit.

  • How far in advance should I rent my tuxedo?

    Bridal parties should pick out formal wear about one to two months prior to the big day, but you’re welcome to come in 7-8 months in advance if you want to simply check it off your list! Single tuxedo rentals can be ordered one to two weeks ahead.

  • What style Tuxedos are available?

  • Can I measure myself?

    We recommend that you do not measure yourself.

  • What if I change my mind or have to cancel my order?

    Please contact us at (203) 374-2225. Most requests can be accommodated.

  • Is a deposit required?

    For each tuxedo rented there is a mandatory $20 security deposit. This is returned to you after the Tuxedo is returned on time, and without any damage.

  • When do I pay for the tuxedo?

    The tuxedo cost is due upon pick up.

  • What if some wedding party members live in another city or out of state? How do I get them fitted?

    Groomsman can go to any tuxedo shop for measurements and then fax, email, or call in their measurements to ensure a fantastic fit. We will have the tuxedo ready when they get here.

  • When do I pick up my tuxedo?

    Tuxedos are ready for pick-up the Thursday before your event. Earlier fitting dates are possible when the arrangements have been made in advance, prior to pick-up.

  • What happens if the tuxedo does not fit?

    No problem! We always have customers try on the tuxedo prior to leaving the store, but just in case you grew an inch or lost one, there is always a tailor available to make adjustments and you can take it home the next day. Meet our tailor.

  • What does it mean when an invitation says “black tie invited?”

    “Black tie invited” can be thought of as a slightly more forceful request than “black tie optional.” It means that you should wear formal attire (a tuxedo and accessories) if possible.

  • When does the tuxedo need to be returned?

    You should return your tuxedo the day after the event or if the event was on the weekend, Monday.

  • What if I’m going on a cruise or an extended honeymoon or vacation? How do I return my tuxedos?

    We offer one and two week rentals. Just let us know when you stop by and we can make all the arrangements.
